Easter

What we do in this world does make a difference. It's not only the destination, but also what we do on the journey that gets us to our desire. If we believe in our hearts, then what we do should shine through. We are not God's puppets, but his children with the free will to do as we think is right and choose is good. We will make mistakes, but we learn from those mistakes and choose better next time. Jesus died so that we may live on. He showed the way. He loved us and sacrificed for us so that we would do so for others. He died and rose to live in Heaven with our Father. All I know is that Heaven is a wonderful, beautiful place where we will be with those we love without the trappings of this world. Thank God for Jesus!

My Pop!
My Dad died 8 years ago this afternoon. It was a Monday. He got sick and went to the hospital the day before. The time seems elongated to me. Just Sunday to Monday takes forever in my memory. So much happened, yet there was so much waiting. 8 years...so much has happened, yet there is still so much waiting.

If you had a million dollars, what would you do? I would pay everything off that needs paying off, share with my Mother and siblings, put some in trusts for my daughters, build a house in the country, buy a new car, and save the rest. Okay, let's make it $10 million instead of one million!
Is the dog really man's best friend? Yes. When I was pregnant and in labor, my dog Tyler would not get off my lap. Rascal is very protective and loyal.
Which celebrity would you want to sleep with the most? I watched a Bond film last night with...you guessed it...Pierce Brosnan. So, he would be great. Hello, Vin Diesel. Hot!
Worst fear? Something bad happening to my kids.
Favorite band? I love the 70s!
Favorite show? Not watching anything on TV right now. Historically...Gilmore Girls.

Last watched movie? I have to name one? The very last one was Good Luck Chuck. Before that was a Bond film with Pierce Brosnan and before that was BBC's Persuasion. I love movies.
Favorite author? I also like JD Robb/Nora Roberts, but I really like Janet Evanovich. My all-time favorite, of course, is Jane Austen.
Disney movie? Mulan - Can you say girl power? Let's kick some hunny-buns!

Coolest power? Mind-reading...So, I knew what a certain little non-talker was thinking.
Animal? Dog, pig, goat, cow...most 4-legged farm animals, other than horses. I want a farm again some day.

Time of day? Morning! I have more energy then, and everyone else is still sleeping. I can do whatever I want. I can do chores. I can walk. I can brew a cup of joe. Anything is possible in the morning.

Cereal? Currently oatmeal or cream of wheat. In the summer, I like granola.
MTV show?I can't remember the last time I watched MTV. I watcxhed that Dr. Drew Celebrity Rehab show when I was in Vegas. Is that MTV or VH1? Anyway...poor Kenickie!
Rather be blind or deaf? Deaf. I think I would be claustrobphobic if blind.
