Take the first step in faith. You don't have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step.
~ Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Even though Dr. King was talking about faith, I think one step is really all it takes to start any project. Maybe he's the original Nike marketing, with Just Do it? I have so many projects still to do in my house. There are still things from the original list of 4+ years ago. I knew that I should have finished a couple of them before even moving in. I'll know better for next time. How do I find the time for projects when I can barely get regular household chores done?

I usually go with the thought of "you just need to start and everything else will fall behind it." However, this is coming from someone who has only painted two rooms in almost three years ;-)
LOL -- I know what you mean. I guess you just pick the big, important things and try to take bites of them a little at a time. It never gets done... that's just life. (Unless you're Inez, LOL)
:o)
Seriously, Mary....I could not relate more to this post. I will need to take a "One thing at a time" lesson. It seems like there is never time to do anything. How do people do it. I just want to sit on my butt and do nothing when I actually do get free time. Is that wrong?
